Scout Trees 2011

What: Scouting has an annual tradition of planting trees to do a little bit for the environment. This year is no exception. Our Group will take part in this event as we do every year. This is a significant fund-raiser for the Group so your assistance is requested for that. A collection envelope will be provided to each beaver on April 18th. Please return your envelope before 20 May.
When: Saturday, 7 May 2010. The drop off and pickup times will be sent by email soon.
Where: The planting location will be in an area just this side of Enfield. The exact location will be sent by email soon.
Who: Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers from our own 1st Riverlake Group and other Groups in Halifax Area.
Youth should be dressed for the weather (including boots) and bring a cut off hockey stick (ie. No blade) or small metal shovel for planting. A few buckets to carry seedlings will be needed as well.
Please see your leader if you have any questions. More specific details on location and meeting time will be announced soon.
Thanks
Rainbow (Heather)
