1st Riverlake Scouting

This is a reminder about some upcoming events.

Nov 8th Campfire – Next week’s meeting will be a campfire. The campfire is just off the road at 160 Perrin Drive (Old Guysborough Road where you get off Highway 118) The civic number is hard to see, so it may be easier to spot a big pile of logs (of course our cars will be there too). The meeting times will be same (6:30-7:30). Please ensure your child is dressed very warmly.

Remembrance Day – The beavers will participate in the Remembrance Day parade and ceremony in Windsor Junction with the other scouts and guides groups. The Remembrance Day service will take place this year at the Windsor Jct. Cenotaph (454 Windsor Junction Rd). The staging area for the parade is in the parking lot of the Screening place (just down the hill from the Cenotaph) on Windsor Jct Rd. If you and your Beaver will be participating, please have your Beaver at the staging area, in uniform, by 10:30. You can then meet them at the Cenotaph for pick up at the end of the service.
